The Moon Family Band is 5 piece + group that plays a very wide variety of music from turn of the century old' tyme, big band, jazz and country standards, folk, Irish, Mexican, Hawaiian, fiddle tunes and early rock'n roll.  There are even some blues and classical thrown in there.  Four of us (Tina, Linda, Crystal and Eric) were very influenced by our musical parents, Jackie and Warren Moon.  We would play at Christmas and whenever we got together as a family.  Later, when Dad was in long term care we would go to his room and play music with him, Dad playing an electronic horn.  Soon the entertainment director of the facility asked if we'd play for all the residents.  The Moon Family Band grew from there.

We've played in festivals, markets, hospitals, dances, fairs, benefits, shows, parties and concerts.  We can provide entertainment for just about any party or show you can think of.  We can do all acoustic, battery powered (no wall power) for 50 people or full on PA for 200+.

	Eric (Moon) is a singer and guitar player with 40 years of musical experience playing rock, jazz, folk, classical and musical theatre.
	Tina McLaren (Moon) is a singer and plays violin, piano & percussion. She has studied music all her life and teaches violin and piano. Tina has played in orchestras, small ensembles and solo. She is also the sheet music master.
	Crystal Schonberg (Moon) Sings and plays ukulele and melodica. Crystal has also played the piano and guitar for many years, sang in community choirs and is learning the xaphoon.
	Linda Mellus (Moon) sings and plays percussion and guitar. She has sung in many choirs and operas as lead and supporting characters. Linda has also sung and played with dance and small combos.
	Marilyn Roberts (partner of Eric) sings and plays bass guitar and has done so for many years. She also taught and still plays guitar. In a former life played guitar with her cousin, Linda, in Montana. They were called the "Country Cousins".
	Lance McLaren (Tina's husband) sings and plays percussion and recorder.  He also drives, hauls and helps with sound check.
	Sheila Roberts (Marilyn's sister) and Tom Satterly sit in on occasion singing and playing harmonica and percussion. Both have played music for many years.
